Help
Each kind has a full help page here, and the same circle-help glyph on that kind’s list (and item) opens a slideover so you can keep using the page. Writing help is shared.
Kinds
- PollsAsk a question and let members propose the answers.
- TorrentsA catalog of .torrent files. Each file is public or private (BitTorrent private flag) — never both. Item visibility is separate; a private file can never be listed as public.
- GalleriesPhoto albums on the taxonomy spine. One image is a one-photo album. Canonical URL is /galleries/{topic}/{slug}.
Writing and chrome
- TagsLetters, kinds, sort, and requesting a tag from the catalog rail.
- MarkdownFull markdown in posts and comments, light markdown in chat and PMs, and post embeds.
- Date formatPOSIX-style tokens for custom timestamps in Quotes, Blogs, and Chat prefs.
- IconsWhat each header and page chrome icon means — kinds, PM, help, admin, sign in.
