A talk delivered by Patten in Boston on 7/4/1970 outlining the evidence for global catastrophes of planetary origin, specifically the Biblical flood of Noah which he attributes to a close flyby by the planet Mars. He claims that Mars was for thousands of years in a highly elliptical orbit, with a 2 earth-year orbit in exact 2:1 resonance with Earth's, allowing periodic near fly-bys.
