WARNING: Amalgam is highly neurotoxic and obsolete. Don't use it!

The system of health care is currently comprised of a monopolistic exclusive hegemony, driven for profit, and protected by crushing government regulation. In the US, unconstitutional attempts are underway to escalate this monopoly to an even higher degree. This escalation will lead to even higher overall costs, restriction, less availability, and thus an effective collapse of open and free medical enterprise. Doctors and nurses are already planning their escape from that over-regulated and doomed system.

Even if the grossly unconstitutional facets of the new and unpopular 'laws' are repealed, it is unlikely that the fundamental issues leading to the collapse will be effectively addressed.

The essential element of medicine is knowledge, not money. There is a certain amount of skill involved, which comes with observation and practice. But the level of "talent" needed for effective proficiency is not the obstacle that most assume it to be. Any average person can acquire the necessary skill if they apply themselves. Medicine may have been viewed as magic in antiquity, but it is not magic. The knowledge which underlies practical medicine can be absorbed for free today, by anyone with internet access. Therein lies the seeds of a revolution.

A great many books of medical knowledge are now free and in the public domain. Other more modern books are available for free distribution also. But to assume that newer books are better, is not entirely true. Older books, especially those dealing with botanical sources of medication, detail techniques and materials that are more easily available to the common man. Many of the older and simpler techniques have been abandoned and forgotten - not because they are ineffective, but because they can not be milked for patents and huge profits by large corporations. But they are just as effective as they have always been.

It is hoped that many will download and distribute these valuable materials, via torrents, disks, jump drives, or whatever means available. There is no longer any excuse for artificial scarcity and high cost of medical knowledge.

With this collection, anyone can learn the most basic aspects of emergency dental treatment. Without at least temporary treatment, dental problems are not only painful - the spread of infections can be positively dangerous. The knowledge contained here, when applied with care and manual dexterity, has long been the way to avoid such danger.

ORGANIZATION OF THE LESSONS
===========================

The videos begin (1 through 14) with a quite thorough introduction to fundamental oral anatomy, techniques to control bleeding, access to areas of the mouth, suction, and the instruments used in oral medicine. If you are already familiar with these fundamentals, you may wish to begin with about video number 16.

Videos 15 through 22 deal with "Base and Temporary" materials, often the most important for immediate treatment of cavities and fractures of teeth. These materials are also used beneath permanent fillings, to help protect the inner structures of teeth.

Videos 23 through 30 deal with use of amalgams. Amalgams are metal alloys, which start as paste-like fluids, and gradually harden to durable metal. Though some argue that amalgams have possible toxic properties, they are uniquely suited to easy and long-lasting dental repairs, and have a centuries-long history of safe and effective use. Only gold is proven superior in durability and effectiveness.

Videos 31 through 42 detail the treatment of various "classes" of cavity - characterized mainly by which area of a tooth they occur on.

Videos 43 through 45 deal with dental sealants. Sealants are most often used for treating pits and fractures of teeth.

Videos 46 through 48 deal with the use of X-rays, when available.

Videos 49 through 60 cover the critical topic of dental anesthesia. Preparation or completion for most permanent dental restorations will require some form of anesthesia.

Videos 61 through 64 are about technique for gold fillings. Though requiring skill and costly material, gold remains the most excellent and longest lasting material for tooth restorations.
