Crowley's Funereal Documents

Ever wonder what happenned to Al Crowley's remains and estate after he died? Well, I never did.

But anyway, my friend and neighbor, a certain quite colourful and sagacious Frater Hextas from Vancouver Island Canada, brought over a whole bunch of original documents for me to scan. This is a small selection of them. I scanned them myself, and they stayed with me for a few weeks. It was kind of weird having all these dozens of pages penned by Crowley's own hand, litterally. On the other hand, I never noticed them glowing in the dark or anything...they just felt...you kniw, wierd...kinda sizzly on the fingertips.

I was amazed by some of what I read. Who would have thought that his ashes would sit around the funeral home for over a year before they could get someone, anyone, to come and pick them up! I find this very amusing!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am told by Frater Hextas that this is the very first time these documents have ever been revealed to the world at large! If that's true, then yippee for me!

Btw. I regard myself as a Thelemite, more or less, but have no affiliations whatsoever with the OTO or AA (or any other group) other than a few friends who are members, nor is Thelema what you would call my "primary system". I recognize and salute universal truth wherever I might find it.

R.I.P. Mr. Crowley, Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law!

Another weird thing is Crowley died on December 1, 1947. I was born on Dec. 1, 1967. Maybe I am Jesus after all? Hope not!!! I hate being nailed to things.
