When are Americans finally going to revolt?

Even Time magazine gets it:

Even liberals get it:

The biggest money transfer from the poor to the rich in history is happpening right now as 60% of American small businesses go bankrupt. When is enough enough?

I saw the same thing said

I saw the same thing said about Air Canada in Canada, too. (Who also ripped me off as part of this whole thing.)

One problem with the question, though, is that Americans never actually revolted. There was no revolutionary war as there was in France: there was only a war for independence. This is an important distinction. Meanwhile, the war for independence -- on which much of American mythos is built -- was never about rich vs poor. It was solely about absentee governance ("no taxation without representation"). Americans don't really have that issue today. Someone here recently turned me on to Larken Rose and uploaded his "the Most Dangerous superstition". That is spot on, if you ask. Or put more plainly in the words of Bob Marley: emancipate yourself from mental slavery; none but ourselves can free our self...

How is it a problem when I didn't state that they had?

Do you think it's time for Americans to revolt against their government?

I meant no disrespect but, to

I meant no disrespect but, to me, it was a tacit assumption behind the question. That is all. Did my point look rude?

To your second question: I would again suggest that I’ve never seen Americans revolt so whether or not I think they should, the historical evidence suggests they won’t.

Do I personally think there ought to be revolution today anywhere in the world? I’ll tell you what: I’d like to be able to travel internationally where I want to, when I want to, and with whomever I want to. I believe more in a freer international world but we don’t have overt international government. I’d rather see that and put my time into that.
